just a quick informative blurb regarding division placement in Black Ops 2.

From the Activision Site:

Leagues are divided in the following manner:

Pro = Top 500
Semi-Pro = Top 1-2%
Platinum = Top 3-18%
Gold = 79-60%
Silver = 59-40%
Bronze = 39-20%
Iron = 19-0%

"Between Gold, Silver, and Bronze, there will be a set amount of Teams which will fill out subdivisions. Regardless of subdivisions, matches will be based around skill rating and matching Teams with similar skill ratings.
Note: After the completion of each season, ranks for teams/Lone Wolfs will be reset."

Lets not forget that if you quit during a placement match or your console turns off, it will count as a loss most likely resulting in Iron or Bronze placement upon completion of your placement matches.
