As you may be aware there is currently a public beta release of the new version of the Friends system.
To run the beta you'll need to run Steam from a command line, adding the following parameters:
Please note: If you are having issues with your Steam Client - please remove the Friends beta parameters from your start up before trying to resolve the issue.
