What a bunch of FRELLing morons!!!!! I can't play anything other than Special Forces right now!!!!!! I try to get into anything else and get the error "This server does not allow modified content. Please revert back to your original version of Battlefield 2." Well... Let's see... I have only installed 2 things that would affect BF2... The 1.22 Patch, and Euro Forces... Hmmmmm... Who makes those??? Oh... That's right.... E-FRELLING-A!!!!!!!! I hate these stupid people.... WHAT THE FRELL!!!!!!!!!!  ??     |

I dunno. Do you have the custom training map installed that the KILLER clan is having us train on when we play with them?

Nope.... That is on my old machine... Euro Forces is on the new machine.... EA is just FRELLing stupid... Oh... And DICE too!!!! Grrrrrrrr.....

hey guys... let me start w/ some words defending our training map... over 10 ppl on our group have used the map and played w/o problems on ranked servers. For ur problem i can only recommend one thing. Reinstall the game and use the full patch 1.22. That has work for some of our members that had that problem be4 the training existed; it's yet another bug on their system...

Hey AlX, don't catch me wrong, I knew it wasn't your training map. That isnt installed on my normal gaming machine. I put that only on my older machine to try it out. I am working on a full reinstall, but it works going into regular BF2 (non-Euro Force maps) and Special Forces. This makes no damn sense... I just dont get EA... How can you be planning a game since BEFORE the launch of the original and still find a way to FRELL it all up!!!! ? |

OK... So I called EA Tech Support (mistake 1)... I talked to some guy who I assumed was looking at his computer screen (mistake 2) and telling me what to do, which I then did right away on my system (mistake 3)... I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with them (grrrrrrr) and the resolution after all that was (you must say this is the thickest Indian accent you can manage) "You must reinstall the game from the very beginning, uninstalling BF2, SF, EF, and all patches. Reinstall BF2 and SF, then install patch 1.21, then install EF, then run patch 1.22. Oh, and EA downloader may not recognize that you have uninstalled EF from your PC so you might have to repurchase the game." WITH NO REFUND TO MY FRELLING CARD!!!!! Maybe if they start beta testing right now with some of the non-"pro" clans we can get a decent bug free game in Battlefield 2142... If they keep down this path... well... Good luck with that... I think BF2 will be at patch 3.22 before we have a bug free game... And that's the patch where Papyrus Games will come back with a vengence and buy out EA!!!!!!!!
