Age of Empires
I've always loved strategy games. And Age of Empires would feature pretty high on my-favorites list. But I never expected anything like it to show up on the PSP. Well, how wrong I was!
CoderX has just made a clone of AoE for the PSP. Although it's more of a proof-of-concept, I can't wait till it reaches playable form.
Here's an excerpt from the Readme :
Currently working (0.1) Alpha-1
* TC Scrools
* Music Loads
* All graphics work.
* Background Scrolls
A whole lot of stuff is planned for the future releases. This is one game you should look forward to! Thanks for the tip CoderX!
Although this is a Lua game, Lua Player has been bundled along. So no need to download it seperately.

Descent
MagiK from PSPDev has released Descent for the Playstation Portable. Descent is a futuristic arcade style flight game. Originally developed by Parallax Software Descent features 3D gameplay in underground corridors and tight mineshafts. Your specially designed vehicle is equipped with guns and missles and you are able to pick up and upgrade new weapons to add to your arsenal. While many played this game heavily on the PC there have been releases on the Playstation, Sega Saturn and Machintosh platforms as well.
While this release is "not 100% stable and may still contain zillions of bugs." Gamers from our forums report that they haven't seen any bugs or glitchs yet. For more information view the psp-readme.txt file that is included in the download. Also note that "ad-hoc play will most likely not work in this release, since I haven't got a chance to test it yet, but infrastructure mode should work just fine. Please remember that you need updated PIG and HOG files."

Daedalus - N64 Emulator for PSP (1.50 FW)
Yep we have a N64 Emulator ! Beating PSMonkey and PSDonkey is the Daedalus team, which has released it's first public build of a N64 Emulator. This makes it the first publically released N64 Emulator for the PSP. And it's working pretty good. Although it's a port, it still shows that given the right amount of perseverance, anything can be achieved.
Withough further ado, here's some screenshots.
It isn't running at full speed, but heck, it's better than nothing! There are a few running games. Check out the screenshots below! Plus, the application is open source. So anybody can check it out and improve it. And USING IR SHELL TO RUN AT 333MHZ it makes a BIg difference
