HI Guys
Right I got this game the other day and have been ahmmering it to death online.
Last night I was asked to take part in a "clan" match to help some guys make numbers up.
OMG, what a shower of S*** they all were, I actually wished I had been capturing the game, Each round I was the only man left for the team I was on and even when 5 on 1 managed to kick arse and take some names 3 out of 5 times.
The facts are guys that SO has the opportunity to get good at this game. Rainbow Six was the game that brough me to SO all them years ago and its where i found my feet and cutt my teeth on the Xbox.
Ive been hookin up with some guys in another clan to play this on a fun front and they all a good bucnh of guys, but I want the squad back together for this one.
So can you post up on here if you got 360, live & a copy of th enw rainbow six and lets see what we can do.
Boo out

I thought the Vegas game was cool, I use small weapons but I still kick ass with em, my favorite gun is the XM8 or M8 in this case but Ill pick up the full game some time later.

Sorry, you won't see me playing that game. It's not the same RS3 anymore. They damn near took out everything that was tactical about the game...

any game that has a friggin "hotkey" on the controller for throwning a grenade is more geared towards fast paced action than it is a tactical shooter. AS far as the "over-the-shoulder" view. That does not belong in a "true" FPS game. (aka. FEAR, BF2, AVP2...the list goes on). However I an NOT knocking the "over-the-shoulder" camera angles. Ubi soft is the master of it and has proven it with games like Splinter Cell and GRAW. But it has no place in a true tactical shooter game that WAS the Rainbow Six games up til Athena Sword, Raven Shield and Black Arrow. In my opinion the more recent Rainbow Six game have had a lack of tacticalness, if you will. Games like Vegas, Critical Hour, and Lockdown. Hopefully the developers will realize that it was that very tactical gameplay style IS what made the RS3 series a popular game, a game that was the number one game on xbox live for nearly a year. It took the launch of Halo 2 to put an end to it. I'm talking about Rainbow Six 3: & RS3: Black Arrow. To be brutally honest with all of you... and this is a fact. All three of the last Rainbow Six games combined haven't been as popular as Black Arrow was.
Please people, I implore you... I know you all want a "next great game", but I assure you Vegas is NOT it.

Forgive me if I offend u, it is not my intention, I fear that you are maybe a little stuck in your ways, granted games need to be tactical, and expanding on what you said about "over the shoulder" games, GR2 for example, by far took SOs attention away from RS3:BA because it was a superior game, tactics or not
GOW, "again over the shoulder", yet this has been the fastest selling game on 360, nay even ever, far superior to Halo 2, yet you have emplored that you would like to start a GOW team under SO,
To summarise, embrace the next gen game, and "over the sholuder" game views, just because Vegas is different from BA, doesn't make it wrong or bad, learn to love those that are different, under the surface they are all games, and we are all gamers
Peace
JAM.......

I got nothing against the over-shoulder cam. I think it's great... for certain games. Ubi-soft had something great with the older RS3 games. They should have refined it and made it better rather than scrapping it and starting over. You guys like Vegas. Thats cool. But to me, it's not the same game anymore. It's almost like they've sped up the action and gameplay to appeal to ppl with short attention spans.
